The Government of Indonesia encourages the optimization of digital transformation that can become enabler for the creation of input efficiency to support high productivity in various economic and business sectors. This was motivated by the condition that last year around 40% or US$77 billion of the total value of ASEAN digital economic transactions from Indonesia. In 2025, this value is predicted to double to US$130 billion, and will continue to increase until it reaches around US$360 billion in 2030.
The Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs also enlivened the holy month of Ramadan 1444 H with various activities such as Sharing Together in the Month of Ramadan (Ekon Shining), Talking About Parenting Every Thursday (NGAPAK), including holding a Ramadan Bazaar.
In the midst of ups and downs period in global economic conditions, Indonesia's economic growth can grow high by 5.3% in 2022. This high economic growth is also followed by improvements in the quality of people's welfare which is reflected in declining poverty and unemployment rates and accompanied by the social situation of the people or economic movements that have improved post-pandemic.
The Government continues to make efforts in transforming Special Economic Zones (SEZ) development policies by emphasizing the orientation towards the realization of SEZs that are capable of building added value through mastery of technology and human resources. In accelerating regional growth, SEZ has also developed the tourism sector to become one of the dominant drivers.

The digital economy sector is considered to be one of the triggers for accelerating recovery and increasing economic resilience. In Southeast Asia, the value of the digital economy in 2021 is USD 174 billion and predicted to reach USD 1 trillion in 2030. In addition, the total "online population" in Southeast Asia has also reached 440 million people and projected to increase so that the digital economic potential is also increasing.
