Built on an area of nearly 3,000 square meters, the Indonesian Pavilion was inaugurated at the event by President Joko Widodo accompanied by the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Monday (17/04). The Indonesian Pavilion is specifically designed to follow the shape of a traditional Indonesian ship, the Pinisi ship.

Furthermore, Indonesia's presence at the 2023 Hannover Messe is also to present the National Economic Transformation Agenda by promoting industrial and technological cooperation, encouraging exports and foreign investment, and strengthening bilateral relations, not only with Germany but also with other European countries.
“I am also pleased to announce that together with the German Federal Minister for Economic and Climate Action, we have agreed to establish a bilateral platform, namely Joint Economic and Investment Committee to advance our economic and investment interests starting from trade and industry, environment and energy, research and innovation, maritime, health, tourism, training and vocational education, and SMEs development," said Coordinating Minister Airlangga.
