Celebrate the Month of Ramadan, the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Holds a Bazaar for All Employees
Jakarta, April 5th, 2023
The Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs also enlivened the holy month of Ramadan 1444 H with various activities such as Sharing Together in the Month of Ramadan (Ekon Shining), Talking About Parenting Every Thursday (NGAPAK), including holding a Ramadan Bazaar.
The Ramadan Bazaar activity which is intended for all employees and families within the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs is a joint collaboration with the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs. The Ramadan Bazaar will be held for 2 days, April 5 and 6 2022 at the Ali Wardhana Building, Banteng Timur Square, Central Jakarta.
“This event is actually an annual routine event that we hold every month of Ramadan. And Alhamdulillah, this year, the number of participants is much larger. There were 62 participants, while last year there were 43. The enthusiasm was very high. We hope this will be useful for all of us," said Secretary of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Susiwijono Moegiarso in his remarks at the Ramadan Bazaar, Wednesday (5/04).
The commodities sold are quite diverse, ranging from staple foodstuffs, cooking oil, processed meat and fish, various vegetables and fruit, market snacks, to clothing and worship equipment. Specifically for cooking oil, there are 3 producers selling it for IDR 15,000 per liter, and each employee is limited to buying up to 24 liters. This bazaar was also attended by a number of cooking oil suppliers, including from the Ministry of Trade, the National Food Agency and the National Logistics Agency.
The Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Ramadan Bazaar was symbolically opened by Mrs. Yanti Airlangga as DWP Advisor of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs by cutting the ribbon.
After officially opening the event, Mrs. Yanti Airlangga, accompanied by Sesmenko Susiwijono, symbolically handed over compensation in the form of basic food packages, cash, and goodie bag from the Big Family of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs to 5 orphan and duafa foundations.
